- Money on deposit in F&M Trust checking, savings, certificates of deposit and Money Management accounts are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) up to $100,000. Additionally, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are insured up to $250,000.
On May 20, 2009, the standard maximum deposit insurance was temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2013.
